What is Period Poverty?
Period poverty refers to the lack of access to menstrual products, hygiene facilities, waste management, and education, due to various constraints. This pervasive problem affects hundreds of millions of individuals struggling to gain access to necessary, life altering resources. Period poverty can lead to physical, mental, financial, social, and emotional challenges for those affected.
Mission
AdvocatHER is on a mission to eradicate period poverty by delivering essential resources that empower women to thrive – because no one should be held back by a basic need.

1 in 5 female college students reported they’ve felt forced to decide between buying period products and paying for food or other bills.
1 in 7 of college menstruating people in the US had experienced period poverty in the past year.
